Professor Mark C. Taylor

Mark C. Taylor is an American philosopher and religious studies scholar known for his work on postmodernism, theology, metaphysics, art, architecture, media, and technology. He earned degrees from Wesleyan University, Harvard University, and the University of Copenhagen, taught for decades at Williams College, and later became chair of the Department of Religion at Columbia University. He has also been widely recognized for innovative teaching and online education initiatives, including co-founding Global Education Network.
