Professor Christina Phelps Grant

Christina Phelps Grant, also known as Christina Harris née Phelps, was an American historian specializing in the Middle East. She authored 'The Syrian Desert: Caravans, Travel and Exploration' in 1937, providing a detailed historical survey of caravan routes in the Syrian Desert based on her scholarship and travels. She earned degrees from Barnard College and Columbia University.
