Pittacus Lore

Pittacus Lore is a pseudonym used by James Frey (born September 12, 1969, in Cleveland, Ohio), Jobie Hughes, and formerly Greg Boose for the young adult science fiction Lorien Legacies series, beginning with I Am Number Four in 2010.[1][2][3] Within the series, Pittacus Lore is depicted as Lorien's ruling elder who has come to Earth to prepare for an interstellar war.[7] The collective pen name draws inspiration from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lórien and follows nine teenage alien refugees hunted by Mogadorians.[2][3]
