Pierre de la Ruffinière du Prey

Pierre de la Ruffinière du Prey is a Professor Emeritus and Queen's Research Chair in the Department of Art History and Art Conservation at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. An historian of the classical tradition in architecture, his publications range from antiquity to posterity, including books such as 'The Villas of Pliny from Antiquity to Posterity' and 'John Soane: The Making of an Architect.' His research interests encompass architectural education, books, drawings, and the history of architecture in Europe and North America.
