Phyllis Tickle
Phyllis Tickle (1934–2015) was an American author, lecturer, and authority on religion and spirituality, best known for her work on the emergent church movement and books like The Divine Hours series and The Great Emergence. She began her career as a teacher and academic dean at the Memphis College of Art before becoming the founding editor of the religion department at Publishers Weekly and authoring over three dozen books.[1][2][3]
