Phyllis Irwin

Phyllis V. Irwin was an American physician and missionary who, after a personal Christian conversion in high school, pursued medical missionary work and served for decades with The Evangelical Alliance Mission in Pakistan. She and her husband, Russ, worked at Bach Christian Hospital and later in Lahore before retiring to the United States in 1995; she also wrote an autobiography and led women’s Bible studies.
