Phillip Purser

Philip Purser (1925–2022) was a British novelist, journalist, and long-serving television critic for The Sunday Telegraph for over 25 years. Born in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, he served in the army during WWII and in occupied Germany before pursuing journalism on Fleet Street, also writing novels, television dramas, radio plays, and biographies marked by suspense and farce.[1][4][5]
