Philip Newell

John Philip Newell (b. 1953) is a Canadian-born Celtic teacher, author, and former Church of Scotland minister renowned for his work in Celtic spirituality, interfaith peacemaking, and awakening awareness of the sacredness in Earth and humanity. He holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, has authored over fifteen books including the award-winning *Sacred Earth Sacred Soul*, and founded the Earth & Soul initiative in 2016. Residing in Scotland, he leads teachings, pilgrimages on Iona, and works across the Atlantic.
