Philbin, Carrie Anne

Carrie Anne Philbin is an English award-winning computing teacher, author, YouTuber, and podcast host specializing in computer science and STEM education.[1][2][4] She works as Director of Educator Support at the Raspberry Pi Foundation, where she has shaped educational programs since 2014, and leads initiatives like #CASInclude to promote inclusivity in computing.[1][2] She authored 'Adventures in Raspberry Pi,' hosted 'Crash Course Computer Science' in 2017, runs the YouTube channel 'Geek Gurl Diaries,' and was appointed MBE in the 2020 Birthday Honours for services to education; she is currently a PhD student at the University of Cambridge researching K-12 computing education.[1][2][3][7]
