Phil Stutz
Phil Stutz is an American psychiatrist and author known for developing a practical therapeutic approach called “The Tools” and for coauthoring bestselling self-help books with Barry Michels. He studied medicine at City College of New York and New York University, worked as a prison psychiatrist at Rikers Island, and later moved his practice to Los Angeles in 1982.
