Phil Jackson
Phil Jackson, born September 17, 1945, in Deer Lodge, Montana, is a legendary American former professional basketball player, coach, and executive in the NBA. He is the most successful coach in NBA history, having won 11 championships as a head coach (six with the Chicago Bulls and five with the Los Angeles Lakers) and two as a player with the New York Knicks. Jackson was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007 and is renowned for his unorthodox coaching style grounded in Eastern philosophy and Native American mysticism.
