Peter Ward and Joe Kirschvink
Peter D. Ward is a Professor in the University of Washington's Department of Earth and Space Sciences, Department of Biology, and an adjunct in Astronomy, specializing in paleontology and mass extinctions such as the Cretaceous-Tertiary event.[6] Joe Kirschvink is a geobiologist and co-author with Ward on works exploring the evolution of life on Earth.[1][2] Together, they authored 'A New History of Life' (2015), challenging traditional views on life's origins with insights into catastrophes like Snowball Earth and low oxygen's role in biodiversity.[1][2][3]
