Peter Tremayne

Peter Tremayne is the pseudonym of British historian and novelist Peter Berresford Ellis, born March 10, 1943, in Coventry, England. He is best known for the internationally bestselling Sister Fidelma historical mystery series, featuring a 7th-century Irish nun and lawyer, which has been translated into 25 languages. Ellis has published over 98 books under his own name and pseudonyms, including works on Celtic history, fantasy, and historical mysteries.
