Peter Straub
Peter Francis Straub was an American novelist and poet renowned for his horror and supernatural fiction, including successful novels like Julia (1975), Ghost Story (1979), and The Talisman (1984) co-written with Stephen King. He began his career with poetry and mainstream novels before achieving acclaim in horror, also exploring mystery in the Blue Rose trilogy and fusing supernatural elements with crime fiction. Straub received numerous awards such as the Bram Stoker Award, World Fantasy Award, and International Horror Guild Award.
