Peter Smagorinsky

Peter Smagorinsky is an American educator, researcher, and theorist known for his work in English education and literacy education. He served on the faculty of the University of Georgia, where he was Distinguished Research Professor of English Education, and retired in 2020. His scholarship focuses on sociocultural approaches to teaching, learning, and teacher education.
