Peter Ranis

Peter Ranis is a Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the Graduate Center and York College of the City University of New York, known for his extensive research on the working class and worker cooperatives in Argentina, Latin America, and the United States. He has authored over 80 publications and four books, including 'Class, Democracy and Labor in Contemporary Argentina' and 'Argentine Workers: Peronism and Contemporary Class Consciousness,' and is a member of the International Committee of the PSC/CUNY union.
