Peter McWilliams
Peter Alexander McWilliams (1949–2000) was an American self-help author, poet, publisher, photographer, and prominent advocate for marijuana legalization. He authored nearly 40 books, including the bestselling 'Ain't Nobody's Business if You Do' (1993), which argued against consensual crimes, and poetry collections like 'Come Love With Me & Be My Life' that sold nearly four million copies. Suffering from AIDS and non-Hodgkins lymphoma, he used medical marijuana but died in 2000 while facing federal drug charges related to cultivation, unable to take his medications without it.[1][4][6]
