Peter McKimm

Peter McKim was a Newport-born trade unionist who worked as a head shunter driver before becoming the national president of the Iron and Steel Trades Confederation. Known as 'Top Cat' for his straight-talking style, he was a prominent figure in the iron and steel industry unions. He passed away at the age of 87.
