Peter May
Peter May is a Scottish novelist and former television screenwriter known for his crime fiction, especially the Lewis Trilogy set in the Outer Hebrides. Born in Glasgow, he began his career as a journalist before moving into television drama and later writing full-time novels, which have won major awards in the UK, France, and the United States.
