Peter M. Elias

Peter M. Elias, M.D. (born April 1, 1941, in Waltham, Massachusetts) is a distinguished dermatologist and researcher who earned his B.A. from Stanford University in 1963 and M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco in 1967. He completed specialized training including residencies at Harvard Medical School and fellowships at the National Cancer Institute, and has held prominent roles such as Chairman of the Field Advisory Group for the Veterans Administration. Elias has received numerous honors, including Gold and Bronze Medal Awards from the American Academy of Dermatology for his scientific exhibits and contributions to experimental dermatology.
