Peter Lynch
Peter Lynch (born January 19, 1944) is an American investor, mutual fund manager, author, and philanthropist best known for managing Fidelity's Magellan Fund from 1977 to 1990, achieving an average annual return of 29.2% and growing assets from $18 million to $14 billion.[1][2] A proponent of value investing, he authored bestsellers like *One Up on Wall Street* and coined phrases such as 'invest in what you know' and 'ten bagger.'[1][5] He serves as Vice Chairman of Fidelity Management & Research and President of The Lynch Foundation.[4][5]
