Peter Lerangis
Peter Duncan Lerangis (born 1955) is an American author of children's and young adult fiction, best known for his New York Times bestselling Seven Wonders series and contributions to the 39 Clues series, including The Sword Thief and The Viper's Nest.[1][2][6] A Harvard graduate with a biochemistry degree, he began as a Broadway actor and musical theater performer before transitioning to writing, having authored over 175 books sold nearly 7 million copies worldwide and translated into 35 languages.[5][6] His works span genres including sci-fi like Watchers, historical YA such as Smiler's Bones, and series like Spy X, Abracadabra, and ghostwriting for Baby-Sitters Club under A.L. Singer.[2][3][4]
