Peter Johnson
Peter Johnson is an acclaimed American poet, novelist, and critic of prose poetry, born in Buffalo, New York in 1951. He is the winner of the 2001 James Laughlin Award for his second collection of prose poems, Miracles & Mortifications, and has authored works including the novel What Happened and the short story collection I'm a Man. He is a Professor Emeritus at Providence College, where he continues to teach, and lives in Barrington, RI.
