Peter Golenbock
Peter Golenbock is an acclaimed American sports author, best known for his books on baseball, including ten New York Times bestsellers such as The Bronx Zoo (with Sparky Lyle), Bums: An Oral History of the Brooklyn Dodgers, and Dynasty: The New York Yankees 1949-1964.[1][2][4] Born in New York City, he grew up in Stamford, Connecticut, earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1967 and a J.D. from New York University in 1970, and worked as a sports columnist and reporter before becoming a prominent sports historian and ghostwriter.[3]
