Peter Ellard

Dr. Peter Ellard is an Associate Professor of Practice in Religious & Theological Studies at Merrimack College, where he also directs the Graduate Program in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction. He holds a BA, MA, and PhD in Theology from Fordham University and has taught and written for over 33 years, with interests spanning medieval history, environmental ethics, climate change, and the works of Thomas Berry. Previously serving as Dean and Vice President at Merrimack, he has created numerous student success programs and teaches in Religious Studies, Philosophy, Environmental Studies, and the Honors Program.
