Peter Dyson

Peter Dyson was born in Coburg, Australia in 1942, attended Coburg High School from 1954-1960, and earned a science degree from Melbourne University before completing a PhD.[1] He conducted research at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in 1967, advanced solar-terrestrial physics studies using HF radar and other techniques over 45 years, received awards including the NASA Group Achievement Award in 1998 and the Royal Society of Victoria Research Medal in 2003, and served as Director of Research and Innovation at La Trobe University until his retirement as Emeritus Professor in 2008.[1][4]
