Peter Doyle
Peter Doyle is an Australian author, musician, visual artist, and exhibition curator born in 1951 in Maroubra, Sydney. He is best known for his Ned Kelly Award-winning crime novels featuring Billy Glasheen, including Get Rich Quick, Amaze Your Friends, The Devil’s Jump, and The Big Whatever, as well as non-fiction works like City of Shadows and Crooks Like Us that explore Sydney's criminal history through historical photographs. An Honorary Associate Professor at Macquarie University, he received the Australian Crime Writers Association Lifetime Achievement Award.
