Peter Aughton

Peter Aughton is a British author specializing in history and science, particularly maritime exploration and notable voyages. Formerly a computer engineer in the aerospace industry where he worked on the world's first supersonic airliner, he later lectured at the University of the West of England. He has authored over 30 books, including 'The Fatal Voyage: Captain Cook's Last Great Journey,' 'Endeavour,' 'Resolution,' and 'Transit of Venus.'
