Pete Hautman
Pete Hautman, born Peter Murray Hautman on September 29, 1952, in Berkeley, California, is an American author known for novels in young adult, adult, and middle-grade genres, including the National Book Award winner Godless (2004).[1][5] After moving to Minnesota at age five, attending college without graduating, and working various ill-suited jobs, he published his first novel Drawing Dead in 1993 and has since authored over thirty books.[1][8] He lives with author Mary Logue in Golden Valley, Minnesota, and Stockholm, Wisconsin.[1][5]
