Percy Allis

Percy Alliss was a leading British professional golfer in the 1920s and 1930s, known for winning multiple tournaments including the German Open five times and placing in the top 10 at the British Open ten times.[1][2][5] He represented Great Britain in five Ryder Cups from 1929 to 1937 and was the father of golfer, commentator, and course designer Peter Alliss.[1][2][3] Later, he served as Secretary of Ferndown Golf Club in Dorset for 28 years.[2]
