Peng-Yeng Yin
Peng-Yeng Yin is a professor in the Department of Information Management at National Chi Nan University, Nantou, Taiwan, where he has served since 2003 and currently holds the position of Dean of Research and Development.[1][2] He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, and was a visiting scholar at the University of Maryland and Georgetown University from 1993 to 1994.[1] His research interests include artificial intelligence, evolutionary computation, pattern recognition, machine learning, and operations research, with over 100 publications in prestigious journals and conferences, and he has edited two books in pattern recognition.[1]
