Pauline Stansfield

Pauline Alice Roycroft Stansfield (1939–2022) was a New Zealand disability rights advocate, nurse, and piano teacher. After becoming paraplegic in a bus accident in Russia in 1969, she devoted much of her life to supporting people with disabilities and was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 2020.
