Pauline Gibbons

Pauline Gibbons is an Adjunct Professor of TESOL at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, and a former lecturer in postgraduate and undergraduate TESOL courses at the University of Technology, Sydney. She works as an independent educational consultant whose expertise has taken her to countries including Hong Kong, Sweden, Singapore, China, South Africa, and the USA. Gibbons has authored numerous books on English language education, such as Scaffolding Language, Scaffolding Learning, Bridging Discourses in the ESL Classroom, and English Learners, Academic Literacy and Thinking.
