Paula Hawkins

Paula Hawkins is a British author best known for her psychological thriller The Girl on the Train, which became a global bestseller selling over 23 million copies and was adapted into a film starring Emily Blunt. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, she worked as a journalist for fifteen years before turning to fiction, having moved to London in 1989. Her subsequent novels, including Into the Water and A Slow Fire Burning, were also instant bestsellers.
