Paul Roche
Paul Roche (1916–2007) was an English poet, novelist, educator, and translator best known for his translations of Greek and Latin classics, including works by Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, Sappho, and Plautus. Born in India and later associated with the Bloomsbury circle, he was also recognized for his long relationship with painter Duncan Grant.
