Paul Revere

Paul Revere was an American silversmith, industrialist, and patriot best known for his midnight ride on April 18, 1775, when he helped warn colonists of British troop movements before the battles of Lexington and Concord. Beyond that famous episode, he was active in the revolutionary cause, worked as a messenger and engraver, and later became a successful bell caster and entrepreneur in Boston.
