Paul Oskar Kristeller

Paul Oskar Kristeller (1905–1999) was a German-American scholar and leading authority on Renaissance humanism and Renaissance philosophy. He taught at Columbia University from 1939 to 1976 and remained active as professor emeritus, influencing the study of Renaissance thought through extensive historical and philosophical scholarship.
