Paul Kennedy
Paul Kennedy is a British historian specializing in international relations, economic power, and grand strategy, best known for his influential book *The Rise and Fall of the Great Powers* (1988), which has been translated into over twenty languages. Born in Wallsend, England, he earned his BA from Newcastle University and DPhil from Oxford, taught at the University of East Anglia, and has been the J. Richardson Dilworth Professor of History at Yale University since 1983. He is the author or editor of nineteen books and contributes columns on global issues to major publications worldwide.
