Paul Harding
Paul Harding (born 1967) is an American author and musician best known for his debut novel Tinkers (2009), which won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize. He grew up in Wenham, Massachusetts, earned a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and has taught creative writing at institutions including Harvard University, the University of Iowa, and currently Emerson College. His works explore multi-generational New England family stories, with This Other Eden shortlisted for the 2023 Booker Prize and National Book Award.[1][2][7]
