Paul Gregory

Paul R. Gregory is an American economist, academic, and author born to Russian immigrants, specializing in Soviet economics, economic history, and transition economies, with a PhD from Harvard University and affiliations including the Hoover Institution and University of Houston.[1][2][3][6] As a University of Oklahoma student, he tutored with Marina Oswald and testified before the Warren Commission following JFK's assassination, later chronicling this in his 2022 memoir The Oswalds.[1][5] He has authored or coauthored twelve books, including works on Stalinism and the Gulag, and produced the Oscar-shortlisted documentary Women of the Gulag.[2][6]
