Paul D. Buell

Paul D. Buell is a historian, sinologist, and specialist in Chinese medicine and Central Eurasia, with a primary focus on the Mongol Empire and its aftermath. He holds a PhD in History from the University of Washington and has authored more than 80 books and articles, including works on the Historical Dictionary of the Mongol World Empire. Buell lives in Seattle, Washington, where he works as an independent scholar, translator, and editor.
