Paul Auster
Paul Auster (1947–2024) was an American novelist, memoirist, essayist, translator, and screenwriter best known for his postmodern, genre-blending fiction, especially The New York Trilogy. His work often explored identity, coincidence, chance, and the strangeness of urban life, particularly in New York City.
