Paul A. Longley

Paul A. Longley is a GIScientist and Quantitative Human Geographer specializing in the human dynamics of urban systems, formerly Professor of Geographic Information and Cartography at University College London (UCL).[2][4] His extensive publications include three books, 13 edited collections, 127 refereed journal articles, and he has secured over £31 million in research grants while supervising numerous PhD students.[2] He has held editorial roles for journals like Computers, Environment and Urban Systems and Environment and Planning B, and contributed to teaching quantitative methods and public understanding of science.[2]
