Paul A. Davies

Paul Charles William Davies (born 22 April 1946) is a British-born theoretical physicist, cosmologist, astrobiologist, and best-selling author known for his work on quantum field theory in curved spacetime, black holes, and the origin of life. He is Regents’ Professor of Physics and Director of the Beyond Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science at Arizona State University, with previous appointments at universities including Cambridge, London, Newcastle, Adelaide, and Macquarie. Davies has authored over 30 books, numerous research papers, and is a prominent science communicator through media appearances.[1][2][3]
