Patrick Siarry

Patrick Siarry is a French professor and researcher known for his work in metaheuristic optimization, including simulated annealing, and its applications to engineering, artificial intelligence, control, and medical/biological engineering. He received his PhD from the University of Paris 6 in 1986 and his habilitation from the University of Paris 11 in 1994, and has held professorships in automatics and informatics at French universities.
