Patrick Mullins
Patrick Mullins is a Canberra-based writer and academic with a PhD from the University of Canberra, where he also lectured and tutored. He is the author of five books of non-fiction, biography, and history, including the award-winning Tiberius with a Telephone: The Life and Stories of William McMahon, which won the 2020 National Biography Award and NSW Premier’s Literary Award, and The Trials of Portnoy. His next book, The Stained Man—a work of true crime about one of Australia's greatest scandals—is forthcoming in May 2026 with Scribe.
