Patrick Delaforce

Patrick Delaforce was a British soldier who served with the 13th (Honourable Artillery Company) Regiment Royal Horse Artillery in the 11th Armoured Division shortly after D-Day in Normandy during World War II. After the war, he became a wine grower and shipper, head of a New York advertising agency, held multiple directorships, and authored over 20 military history books including The Black Bull and titles on Wellington and Monty. He lived in Brighton, Sussex, and near Gascony with his wife and two daughters before his death at age 94 in 2018.[1][2][4]
