Patricia Reilly Giff
Patricia Reilly Giff (1935-2021) was an American author and teacher born in Brooklyn, New York, who taught for 20 years in New York City public schools before writing over 100 books for young readers, including the popular Kids of the Polk Street School series and Newbery Honor winners Lily's Crossing and Pictures of Hollis Woods.[1][2][4]
