Patricia Potter
Patricia Potter (1940-2025) was a USA Today bestselling romance author who published over 60 novels and novellas across romance, historical romance, and romantic suspense sub-genres since her 1988 debut. Before writing fiction, she worked as a reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, covering major events like U.S. presidents, the space race, and civil rights, and later as president of a public relations firm in Atlanta. She served as president of the Georgia Romance Writers (1988-1990) and Romance Writers of America (2004), earning multiple awards including three Georgia Romance Writers’ Maggie Awards and seven RITA Award nominations.
