Patricia C Wrede

Patricia Collins Wrede is an American fantasy author born in Chicago, Illinois on March 27, 1953. She is best known for her Enchanted Forest Chronicles series for young adults, which was ranked number 84 on NPR's 100 Best-Ever Teen Novels list. After earning degrees in Biology and an M.B.A., she worked as a financial analyst before becoming a full-time writer in 1985.
